the farmers' markets are starting!

It's that time of year in New Hampshire when things are really starting to grow! And now here come the farmers' markets - Portsmouth has been open for a few weeks now, and we've stopped by and picked up greens, seedlings, and some eggs. All awesome! Exeter starts tomorrow afternoon - 2 weeks earlier than usual. Hooray! And then Durham, Dover, Hampton, and Kingston are coming in the next few weeks (for hours and days of operation, check out the Seacoast Growers Association website). Rumor has it the Lee market will also be opening in early June, but not sure the official date on that one yet. We love the farmers' markets - great people, great food, great opportunity to truly "buy local." Hooray for Spring!
