Some good deals at CVS and Walgreens this week -
A couple days ago, CVS emailed us a $4.00 off $20.00 coupon, and so we brought it with us when we went shopping today. They had Colgate toothpaste for $2.99, with $2.00 in Extra Bucks back, plus we had a $1.00 coupon. They also had Speedstick deodorant for $3.99, with $3.99 in Extra Bucks back. And Altoids are on sale for 99 cents (I love those sour Altoids!). We needed a couple other things that weren't on sale, but since our total came to $21.00, we were able to use the $4.00 off, and get everything at a good overall price (after all our coupons, we paid $11.95, and got $5.99 back in Extra Bucks, plus another $4.00 off of $20.00 coupon printed out).
At Walgreens, they have Colgate for $2.49 with a $1.50 Register Reward at checkout, and we had another $1.00 coupon so we used that to make it in essence free. They also have calcium supplements for $8.99 with a $9.00 Register Reward at checkout. And Trident gum is 3/$2.00 with the coupon in the Walgreens circular, and we had a $1.00 off 3 coupon from a Sunday paper a couple weeks back. All in all, the total was $11.48 for everything - we used our Register Rewards from last week to cover all but 48 cents of the total, and we got another $10.50 back in Register Rewards to spend next time.
A good shopping trip!
